Ranking Starting Hands For Texas Holdem:

The following are widely accepted poker hand ranks for Holdem starting cards. There are eight groups and the cards in each group can generally be played the same way as other cards in the same group. 

Cards are ranked not only according to their odds of winning a hand, but also to the odds of winning a larger pot. There are 168 possible pairs of starting cards of different values in Holdem. Those not shown below are not considered worth playing.
